Event Information

The Santa by the Sea and Tree Lighting event will be held on Sunday, December 8th, 2019 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. The event will be located at the NW Corner of Camino Del Mar & 15th Street. The holiday tree lighting ceremony will begin at 5:00pm.

Del Mar parking can be competitive, so be sure to get to the event early to enjoy as much of the holiday festivities as you can.

Event Details

This event will feature everything from photos with Santa to live music- and more! While Santa will be making an appearance at the event for that annual photo opportunity, be sure to bring your smartphone or camera (there will not be a professional photographer available).

If you are looking for a way to further the holiday cheer, you can bring unwrapped gift donations to benefit the North County Health Services.

There is an ambitious amount of activities packed into this event, so there is sure to be something for every member of the family!
